Meet Jessica
I started my career in customer service at an international tech company and worked my way into operations, eventually leading fulfillment services as a business process manager.
What I saw repeatedly was that teams often relied on workarounds, unclear decision-making, and processes that existed in documentation but weren’t actually used, which meant leaders were constantly pulled in to fill the gaps in real time. Over time, this created a familiar pattern: growth would hit a ceiling as the business became dependent on the people holding everything together. Burnout increased, hidden labour costs grew through constant troubleshooting, and strategic work stayed on the back burner because the day-to-day always took priority. At the same time, the impact showed up at the human level, where broken processes led to frustration for both clients and team members repeating work.
After moving from Ontario to Newfoundland, I saw an opportunity to do things differently. Instead of supporting one company, I wanted to help founders simplify how their businesses actually run without adding more noise.
I believe strong operational structure is what turns a business from founder-dependent into team-driven. It replaces constant decision-making with clear frameworks, so the business doesn’t stop when you step away.
